Vanessa Chinitor urodziła się 13 października 1976 roku w Dendermonde. W 1996 roku zakwalifikowała się do finału programu dla młodych talentów Ontdek de Ster. Swój pierwszy singiel wydała dwa lata później. 28 lutego 1999 roku wygrała belgijski finał narodowy. W Jerozolimie utwór zdobył 38 punktów, zajmując 13. miejsce. W 2006 roku Vanessa ponownie wystartowała w preselekcjach, jednak nie odniosła sukcesu.
