Deborah "Debbie" Scerri jest popularną maltańską wokalistką, aktorką serialową i prezenterką telewizyjną. Reprezentowała Maltę na wielu europejskich i światowych festiwalach. Na eurowizyjnej scenie po raz pierwszy pojawiła się w 1993 roku jako chórzystka ekipy maltańskiej. W 1997 roku wygrała maltański finał narodowy, pokonując m.in. Olivię Lewis, Georginę czy Claudette Pace. W Konkursie w Dublinie zajęła 9. miejsce z dorobkiem 66 punktów. Została ponadto pierwszą w historii laureatką Nagrody im. Barbary Dex dla najgorzej ubranego reprezentanta. Jest mężatką, ma jedno dziecko.
