Trine Jepsen urodziła się 29 września 1977 roku. W 1997 roku wygrała radiowy konkurs dla młodych piosenkarzy. W latach 2001-2003 występowała w żeńskim zespole EyeQ. Po występie na Eurowizji jeszcze dwukrotnie starała się o reprezentowanie Danii. W 2006 roku w duecie z Christianem Bachem wykonała utwór Grib mig. Trzy lata później zaśpiewała piosenkę I'll never fall in love again.
Michael Teschl urodził się 30 czerwca 1971 roku w Århus. Jego debiutancki album ukazał się w 1995 roku.
13 marca 1999 roku duet wygrał duński finał narodowy utworem Denne gang. W Jerozolimie została zaprezentowana anglojęzyczna wersja piosenki (pierwszy duński utwór wykonany na Eurowizji po angielsku). Utwór zdobył 71 punktów i zajął 9. miejsce.
